Indiana Off-Duty Firefighter Rushes in to Save Residents from Burning Home

Greendale, Ind. — Two people escaped from a house fire in Greendale on Thursday afternoon, thanks in part to an off-duty firefighter. WLWT News 5’s Tammy Mutasa reports off-duty firefighter Mike Kernan was nearby when he heard the call on the radio. He ran into the home without his gear to pull the couple to safety.
