Has your department gotten creative about fund raising? Perhaps putting a company’s logo or two on your fleet? Well, the Middle River Volunteer Fire Company in Baltimore County, Maryland has taken it to a whole new level with large ads on its units, WMAR reported — and is making a good living doing so. The department recently contracted with a local HVAC company to put its name two units, including the sign boards on the aerial of department’s ladder truck and atop the pumper.
