Thankful: Houston Fire Hero Goes Home

It was the day before Thanksgiving, beneath appropriately clear and sunny skies, that Capt. Bill Dowling left Memorial Hermann Hospital for the long ride home to Spring. It was no ordinary trip, with Dowling riding in the front seat of Engine No. 68, on the side of which is a large decal marking the loss of two members of the Station 68 family in that same fire.
