Update: Speed, Snow Don’t Mix as 60+ Vehicle Pileup in Wisconsin Caught on Cam

The video above from Sunday’s massive chain-reaction accident in Germantown, Wisconsin is one of the most viral videos of the month — one person, a 63-year-old man, was killed and at least one other injured in the crashes along I-43 near Menomonee Falls. What is striking most about the video is the number of lucky drivers who got out of their cars and stayed in the roadway, as other cars continued to careen into the pileup.

Secondary to the crash, Fox6 reports that Wisconsin State Police reunited a dog with its family following the crash. The dog was found hiding under an airbag.
